Strange iPad, eZ Publish eZ Flow Video Problem
To be perfectly clear, this happens only on the iPad, only in eZ Publish when the eZ Flow extension is enabled. But it is strange enough that it needs to be documented. Applies to eZ Publish 4.3, the iPad with original version of ios.--UPDATE, still a problem with 3.2.1 software update released July 2010. Even an iPod Touch with version 2.2 of ios works fine, but not the iPad. The server is Snow Leopard, not the server version, 5.3.1 version of php, mysql 5.0.5.
I thought the flash video workaround for eZ Publish and the iPad was licked a short while back.

Then along comes a site that uses the eZ Flow extension.
In testing, video display inside the object tag within eZ Flow is intermittent. Sometimes it works, often it does not. When not, only a thin bar displays. Audio with no video is served when clicked.
After about a day of messing around trying to figure this out cleanly, decided a hack was in order.
Placed a direct link to the video content directly above and to the right of where the embedded video was to display. The link is visible in the photo above.
From a direct link, the video content plays perfectly, and in full browser window mode on the iPad.
Now It Gets REALLY Strange
Tapping the back arrow immediately following a full browser window view from the link, will 100 percent reliably display the content within the object tags. No intermittent to it, every single time it works. Now if I could just make it work without the extra two taps.
