1. Login to eZ publish with credentials that allow creating an article and editing a layout.
2. A toolbar appears at the top of the page when properly logged in.
   
3. Click the drop down to select from the list of content types. "Article", the top listing works fine for text. Then click the "+" icon to display a form that accepts "article" content. The usage of this form is intuitive, with explanations within the form describing content items. Fill out to suit. It is only bits and bytes, you can always change it later.
4. Clicking the "Send for publishing" button when desired information is in place on the form, "Publishes" the "article" into the site content structure. That is it, you are finished if using the ezwebin, file and folder structure design.

1. If using the "front page" eZ Flow design, the decision must be made where and when to publish the content.
2. eZ Flow requires decisions as to where and when to present this article within the overall site layout.
3. To put the new article into the existing frontpage layout, click the pencil icon in the toolbar. A graphical representation of the layout appears, with flyouts for the different blocks in each section. Click the "Add Block" button while the "2 items (Manual)" block is listed in the drop down. Block types are basically pre-defined layout styles.
   
4. Within the new "2 items (Manual)" block, click the "Add item" button, and browse through the content heirarchy to put a checkmark next to the newly created article. This adds the article to the "2 items(Manual)" block. One article is fine for now. The new article, in the new block, in the predefined layout, will display in a web browser after the "Send for Publishing" button is clicked.

Comprehending the eZ Flow paradigm is a little more difficult because it requires more decisions. But it gives publishing power and flexibility that meets or exceeds any Enterprise level CMS available anywhere.

The knowledge gained from creating the textual hello world, carries over directly into creating the image and movie versions. Images are easily embedded within text, but creating a bona fide "image" content type from the drop down adds some flexible options to the image type, like easily creating an image gallery.
