Creating hello world - image version
Review how to create the text version first if need more detail.
- For image use admin screens which are quicker to navigate than user login and websitetoolbars used creating the text version.
- Click the "Home" icon, which flies out a menu, select "Create here" then "Gallery"
- Name the Gallery "First Gallery".
- Click "Send for publishing" button at the bottom to create a new empty gallery named First Gallery.
- Know the location of the image file to be uploaded from your machine.
- Still in Admin screens, navigate to the First Gallery, notice the "Subitems" panel at the bottom contains 0 entries.
- Change that by dropping down the selector to the left of the "Create here" button and selecting "Image"
- Clicking the "Create here" button opens a form for creating the new image.
- Name this image "First Image"
- The only other required step is clicking the "Choose file" button which opens a file browser on the local machine where the image may be selected.
- Click "Send for publishing"
- In ezwebin that is all there is to it. Using the same method, create multiple image content types under the gallery to flesh it out.
- In eZ Flow, will need to pick a place to display the gallery, and optionally times when it may be available for viewing.
